Andrew is one of our radio drama experts. With lots of work for Radio4 under his belt, he knows a thing or two about how to elicit emotion behind a microphone. He can also read you a mean audio book (and probably some nice ones too!).
Andrew can turn his voice to...pretty much any voice you fancy. A fluent French speaker, Andrew first honed his craft via the Internet on a whole bunch of projects involving his voice and went from there! He's been the voice of a Mexican wrestler character for Southern Trains, Mr Angry for The Sunday Sport and pretty much everything inbetween!
Andy Scratch hails from St. Albans. TV presenter and Radio DJ, he has a quirky and interesting voice which can bring the dullest script to life. He's fiercely into his DIY music and is currently writing for (and fronting) at least 3 bands and 3 side projects. He supplements his media activities with his creative design company 8e Creative!
Asheq Akhtar is a dramatic and comedic actor known for his improvisation skills and natural delivery. After making his debut appearance Gillian Wearing's feature film, 'Self Made, Variety Magazine cited him an 'obvious natural talent,' which convinced him to take up acting full time. He then continued with a career in acting with appearances in popular film and TV shows such as Sherlock, Patrick Melrose, Man Like Mobeen and Doctors. He appeared alongside Riz Ahmed and Tom Hiddleston in the award-winning short film 'Out of darkness', and went on to act as lead in Channel 4's dystopian, futuristic short film, 'Benefits'. Though also known for his distinctive appearance and characterful performances, he also utilises a diverse set of accents including variations on the Midlands accents, Indian dialect and his own neutral voice amongst others.
Atli was born in Iceland and raised in Norway. He is fluent in English, Icelandic and Norwegian and comfortable working in all three. He has an assured, charming and versatile voice. Recent work includes easyJet's Icelandic in-flight announcements, Icelandic ADR for John Michael McDonagh's War on Everyone, Norwegian ADR for the History Channel's Vikings and BBC Two's The Last Kingdom. Later this year he will feature in ITV's Thunderbirds Are Go as a snooty hot springs resort concierge.
A native Cornish actor Ben Kernow grew up on a small farm on the North Cornish Coast. Ben trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) and has since worked extensively on both the stage and screen in national tours to weekly repertory seasons. A speaker of the Cornish language Ben has a friendly and playful voice quality with a strong adaptability for character voices. When not acting he can often be found in his small vineyard.
Ben is originally from Dublin and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. Since graduating in 2007, Ben has had a diverse career in theatre, film and
television. Ben is also a vocalist with The Voice of Ireland’s house band and has performed on all four series to date on RTE.
Ben has worked extensively as a session singer on various albums and recordings. He has an excellent ear for all Irish accents and takes great pride in being a fluent Irish language speaker (Gaeilge).
Ben is the current male VO for all three Kiss stations (Kiss, Kisstory and Kiss Fresh) and is also on the Nordic versions of these stations in Norway and Finland. Additional work includes commercials for Thorpe Park, Spotify, Choice FM, Xfm, Heart and Galaxy.
A stalwart of the industry and a multi-award winning actor and director, Bernard also acts in the plays he directs. With a calm RP delivery, Bernard is ideal for those soft sell reads. He can also speak fluent Italian!
