A bilingual actress with a knack for character voices, Vanessa Labrie has worked across different styles, languages and regions. She was born in Denmark, raised in Montreal, and trained in England, and just as her definition of “home” is ever expanding, so is the breadth of her work.
Having trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Vanessa appreciates the importance of honouring a text. Her subtle navigation of word choice, intonation and timing have landed her radio/TV commercials, audiobooks, video games, ADR, guided meditations, TV promos, feature films, and corporate videos. Her internationalism means her voice has been heard throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and France.
