Yennis Cheung - London Voice Over

Formerly a Hong Kong recording artist, Yennis is now a UK-based actress, director, and screenwriter. Born in China and raised in Hong Kong, she is the daughter of Beijing opera performers. She studied music composition and classical opera at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and, as a teenager, signed with Sony Music, releasing three pop albums in Asia.
After relocating to London, she appeared in productions like Ransom (CBS), Stan Lee’s Lucky Man (SKY), Silent Witness (BBC), Call the Midwife (BBC), Deathrace: Beyond Anarchy, and Skyfall.
Yennis expanded into screenwriting and directing, earning recognition with the web series Chinese Girls in London. She co-created and starred in the BBC sitcom Chinese Burn, which was noted as the first Chinese female-led sitcom in the Western world, earning a Debut Writer Award nomination at The Debbies in 2018.
