After leaving University with a media production degree, Simon was keen to kick start a career in broadcasting. His first job was traffic and travel reporter for BBC local radio in Manchester where he also did a stint producing the drive-time show. From there his flair for production led him into commercial radio, producing and voicing station idents for Juice fm in Liverpool and then setting up the creative commercial production hub for Forever Broadcasting. The demand for Simon’s voice grew and in 2010 Simon made the leap to full time voice artist, securing many successes including Vimto TV commercials and national radio advertising campaigns (he’s currently the voice of Myprotein.com on Sky Sports and Muc-off for ITV). Simon is a very versatile talent but is popular with youth brands and anybody wanting to give their sound that cool and smooth edge, he’s native Mancunian but can adapt well to a neutral style. When he’s away from the studio Simon enjoys running, cycling, theatre and is actively involved with animal charities.
